About us
The Research & Education
Foundation is a registered charity set up to support training, education and
research in health care in Sligo General Hospital and its catchment area in the
HSE North West Area.
The Board of the Foundation
consists of a number of staff members of Sligo General Hospital and citizens
from the community. Their efforts are entirely voluntary. Since 1992, the
Foundation has worked towards supporting education and research at the hospital.
The Foundation is a member of the
Medical Research Charities Group (MRCG) and The Wheel.
