Activities
Since its inception, the Research & Education Foundation has hosted a
range of training programmes, workshops, seminars, charity events
etc. to promote its mission
of supporting research, training and education. The Foundation's most
significant project has been the development of the Research &
Education Centre, which is partly financed by the Foundation. It has also
undertaken commissioned research on behalf of the hospital.
The Foundation in November 2008
conducted an online User Needs Survey distributed to all HSE staff in the NW and
staff at Institute of Technology Sligo.
