Library
The
Sligo General Hospital Library is located in the Research & Education
Centre. It is available to all staff in the hospital and the wider HSE North
West community.
It provides book and journal collections, access to the Internet and numerous
online databases.
Most journals are also online.
Help and training is available in
locating resources and accessing data. Enquiries can be taken in person or by
phone/email/fax. Photocopying facilities are available and the Library’s own
stock is supported by an interlibrary loan facility.
A study area with eight study cubicles
is available and there is a seating area with daily provision of the main
national and local weekly newspapers.
